KEY TO YOUR HOME 2020

KEY TOYOUR HOME / 109 3/ BEDROOM With its high ceilings and wide floor space, this bedroom has been designed to make a lasting impression. Just behind the bed, the designers painted the wall in burnt orange, then fronted it with white, floral panelling. Together with the exposed red bricked wall, the result is a room that’s playfully bold. A matte black spiral staircase leads to the attached mezzanine attic. 4/ KITCHEN As with the other rooms, the kitchen has a bold personality. This time, black, white and grey hexagonal tiles along the back wall is paired with the colourful, genuine Peranakan tiles on the island counter. This open-concept exudes cheery charm. 4 Since it was first set up in 1999, Free Space Intent continues to build a reputation as being bold and trendsetting members of the interior design community. The designers are not afraid to innovate and break free from the confines of ordinary design, by embracing the use of bold colours, organic forms and intrinsic style. The company approaches design as a collaborative process, one in which client and designer work hand-in-hand to find the right balance between stylish personality and modern functionality.
