126 / KEY TOYOUR HOME key projects / zlc 3/ DRY KITCHEN The space right outside of the wet kitchen has been transformed into a multi- purpose dry kitchen and pantry area. A tall cabinet provides roomy storage, and also houses kitchen appliances like the oven. An island counter extends from this shelf, acting as an impromptu dining table or a preparation area when cooking. 2 3 1/ LIVINGAREA The living area in this home is attached to a large balcony that brings in plenty of natural light into the space. To capitalise on this, the designers kept the design elements to a minimum, allowing the brightness to take centre stage in the interior design. Instead, they customised carpentry units that provide more than enough storage solutions for the homeowners. 2/ KITCHEN Despite its compact layout, the design team managed to maximise the floor plan with a double galley kitchen configuration. With top and bottom cabinets on both walls, this kitchen can easily live up to the expectations of the home chef.
