Translated to Quantum dot LED screen, QLED technology works by placing a layer or film on quantum dots in front of a regular LED backlight panel. Translated to Organic Light-Emitting Diode, OLED TVs uses individual LED to produce both the backlighting and colour for every pixel, giving the colour and contrast the ability to retain their intensity when viewed from an angle as far as 90 degrees off-centre. 4K resolution – which is around 4,000 pixels – is one of the most common resolutions in digital television and cinematography.
