Natural stone Beautiful natural stone surfaces may give your bathroom aesthetics an added boost, but they do constitute an unusual bathroom surface choice for their typically high-maintenance and non-slip-resistant properties. This downside however, can be mitigated if you opt for coarser, textured stones like slate.
