All furniture at Noshery had been custom-made by SquareRooms favourite Second Charm. The furniture retailer created pieces like the solid timber communal table, dining chairs and slatted wooden benches for the cafe. The wallpaper was specially ordered from Martinique Wallpaper in the US, while the blue-and-white mismatched plates were sourced from Chinatown.

Plenty of well-styled spots makes this an Instagram goldmine

Parquet floors, panelled wainscoting, beamed ceiling, large country-style windows, farmhouse furniture and the aforementioned palm-leaf wallpaper mean that there are plenty of spots to get trigger-happy here. You’ll be compelled to snap photos of well-plated food or head outdoors to their herb garden for OOTD shots.

Tuck into some comfort food

Brunch regulars would love Noshery’s offerings, which include cured salmon with scrambled eggs and crab Benny with curry Hollandaise.

Weekday lunch is all about hearty staples that include a sizeable pulled pork sandwich with spicy BBQ sauce ($16) and fish and chips served with homemade tartar sauce ($18). On weekends, the cafe satisfies discerning brunch-goers with concoctions such as delicious crab Benny – crab cakes and poached eggs with coconut curry hollandaise ($20) – and Devil’s Breakfast, their take on the classic fry-up with spicy tomato and chorizo ragout, guacamole and homemade sambal ($20). At night, the cafe transforms into a laidback beer garden with a menu focused on snacks such as kimchi fries and fish tacos, making it the perfect time to spill out into the verdant environs to chill out with a pint or two of craft beer.
