The hotel features an industrial-luxe interior to that pays homage to the building’s past life as a 19th century godown.
Awash in muted palettes, the boutique hotel boasts 37 elegant historically-detailed rooms. Each one is distinctly unique as they were designed to complement the building’s existing layout – its signature triple-pitched roof and original masonry walls – with numerous rooms offering the luxurious grandiose of double-volume ceilings.
Guest rooms are outfitted in furnishings crafted by homegrown and independent makers.
The lobby and reception area is an amphitheatre of understated chic complete with decor and furnishings that marry a bygone era with modern-day Singapore. In a bid to #supportlocal, decorative items and elements like artwork, guidebooks, coffee and tea selections and even snacks stocked in the rooms’ minibars are commissioned from homegrown brands and creators. Even the bathrooms at The Warehouse Hotel evoke a bygone era with their wire mesh frosted glass partitions and mid-century style colour palette.
