Colour Focus: 8 Breathtaking Ideas for a Perfectly Pink Bathroom

shares

We recently looked at some of our favourite green kitchen designs—today we’re exploring yet another stunning colour trend, namely pink bathrooms. Here are eight breathtaking ideas to get you inspired!

Soothing shower cabin

A classic space to infuse with some colour, the shower cabin can be easily fitted out with soothing pink tiles. The rest of this particular bathroom may not be pink, but the red flooring and warm undertones in the cabinets make for a cohesive palette nonetheless.

Lively patterns

Most local homeowners use pink as an accent colour, but it can also serve as a backdrop for something even bolder: patterns! While this vintage look may not be everyone’s cup of tea, it’s certainly quirky and one-of-a-kind.

Natural stone

One sure-fire way to bring some pink into your bathroom? Natural stone with a pink hue. Just look at how lovely this real marble sink looks, the natural veining a real treat to the eyes.

Mermaid tiles

Mermaid tiles make for a fool-proof, classy accent in any bathroom. While they’re available in an abundance of designs and colours, we particularly love these pastel pink ones.

Textured feature wall

For something equally classy yet more out-of-the-box, try a textured feature wall around the vanity area of your bathroom. This dusty pink one is just absolutely stunning and effortlessly luxurious.

Bold cabinets

You could argue that the patterned wall above the vanity is the true highlight of this pink bathroom, but we are drawn to the deep hue of the cabinet instead. Almost a burgundy shade, it transforms a simple, fuss-free vanity into a true centrepiece, especially when paired with the stunning veining around the washbasin.

Pretty accent pieces

There’s no need to go all-out and change your tiles and cabinets in order to get that pink bathroom look. Start small with a few accent pieces, such as rose-gold hardware, pastel pink decor and maybe even a unique washbasin for that special pop of colour.

Strong contrasts

Pink can be an overwhelming colour when there’s too much of it, so we always recommend breaking it up with some contrasting pieces. This pink bathroom makes a statement with black shower fittings and a matching faucet, as well as a dark vanity cabinet for good measure.
