Since childhood, the sisters have displayed an enduring passion for vintage furniture and along the way picked up the skills to restore old pieces. Their fascination with old-world furniture was further nurtured during summers spent in their grandmother’s country house in Börrum, which is furnished with a plethora of well-preserved pieces dating from the 1800s.

With the aim of helping homeowners find their personal style while promoting sustainable purchasing decisions, Möbler’s 2,217-square foot space has been decked out in an assortment of vintage furniture from cinema chairs to, interestingly, a waffle iron. Each of the 500 furniture and decor pieces here has a unique history, exuding a distinctive charm that is sure to enchant. To keep their prices low and accessible to the homeowners of all stripes, the one-of-a-kind articles in the Möbler collection has been personally sourced by Emelie and Ellen from their network of antique dealers to ensure its authenticity. Before the duo commits to purchasing pieces to add to their collection, all of them – from the Allmoge and romantic Gustavian styles of the early 1800s, to Jugend and Art Deco periods – are carefully evaluated based on their original design, unique history and quality. They are then lovingly cleaned, restored, photographed and marketed by the duo.
