This is what you call a truly holistic experience – these salon interiors are as beautiful as you will be after they’re done with you.

Half café and half nail salon, Manicurious is one-of-a-kind stopover in Singapore that is amazingly well equipped as it is aesthetically pleasing. Featuring brass fittings and mixing an eclectic mix of colours and textures, they are also the one of the few salons that offer BioSculpture, which is a healthier alternative to the regular Gelish. Another unique point of interest is that they use Presto Gel, a premium form of Gelish from Japan. Nail art is their forte, but we’re sure you can tell from their artfully decorated salon already.

Traditionally designed with retro elements incorporated into their interiors, this renowned nail studio sits in the heart of Chinatown at Temple Street and is famous amongst nail aficionados. What we particularly like is that they retained the original flavour of their location by not changing the windows while still managing to look trendy. The entire studio has integrated Western and Eastern influences, blending both together seamlessly.

Rubik Hair Salon

Raffles Hotel Arcade #01-27

Singapore 188719

Warm and cozy in the right areas, Rubik Hair Salon prides itself on being able to solve the puzzle of hair. Drawing inspiration from nature, Rubik’s interior design relies heavily on the wood elements and warm lighting. Floors are made to look rough, and walls were treated to look similar with wallpaper. Even their mirrors and furniture feature woodland elements, with an odd piece of greenery to break through the brown hues. From entrance right through to work stations, their design flows seamlessly, much like the work they do.

Covo Hair Salon

Offering a little more privacy than your average hair salon, Covo is both functional and aesthetically beautiful. Strategically placed planks separate clients, lending both design and intimacy. Keeping with a clean design philosophy in mind, all the chairs are uniform while the colour palette is kept to earthy tones.

Hounds of the Baskervilles

Adopting the design of a great era, Hounds of the Baskervilles sit almost hidden along Arab Street, and has the interiors a true blue gentleman would approve of. Quilted leather couches, the apt use of hard and soft textures lend the place warmth, while the mounted wall fixtures give it character. To top it off, they invested in retro recliners to complete the experience while you get your shave/tatt/haircut done.
