Shop For Unique Furnishings And Dine On Comfort Food At This Concept Store

While there is no shortage of furnishings stores in Singapore, retailers offering one-of-a-kind pieces are few and far between. If you are looking for that unique piece of decor to add that special element to your space, definitely visit House of AnLi.

Located just off Singapore’s shopping district, House of AnLi occupies a 2,800-square foot space in Tanglin Mall that comprises a retail section for a wide range of quality home accessories as well as a cosy bistro.

“We have always had a very personal touch with our customers as well as the designers and brand owners of the products we sell,” says Panagiotis Lynas, who co-founded House of AnLi with his wife Anne-Jean Lietaer – after whom the business is named.

Past its handsome glass-front, House of AnLi’s entrance opens up to a generous interior that is reminiscent of a rustic cottage. Distressed brick walls and a stark black open ceiling are responsible for the semblance, while weathered wood bookcases and dark iron shelves lining adjoining walls underscore the retail space’s homely look.

Equally impressive is the variety of products available in-store, and how they bring out its folksy charm. Beautiful tableware from Belgian brand Flamant join artisanal handmade cutlery from Laguiole in creating several dainty dining displays. Close by, a Mathy by Bols children’s bed with a treehouse design parallels House of AnLi’s own congenial homestyle appeal.

Other eye-catching items on display also include a series of woven cushions and tapestries from FS Home Collections, as well as several transparent Fatboy Transloetje table lamps in eye-popping colours.

Further into the store, House of AnLi’s cosy bistro beckons with an appealing menu and an equally delightful ambience. Weary shoppers can zip straight into the chic dining space, which features floor-to-ceiling bay windows and an array of carpented furniture, for a quick cup of New Zealand’s Allpress coffee or a hot meal.
