Started in 2006, the Singapore Garden Festival (SGF) returns for its 6th edition from 23 to 31 July. Held at Gardens by the Bay it’s set to be the largest edition to date with 9.7-hectares – visitors can expect to marvel at 72 floral masterpieces from international and local designers and enthusiasts.

Shop for garden supplies and enjoy nightly concerts 

Purchase plants, gardening and landscape products for your home from the fair located outside the showgrounds. No green thumbs or flair for landscaping? No worries! SGF has expanded to include stalls offering food and beverages. In addition to the bazaar, visitors can expect nightly concerts from local artistes like Gentle Bones and Jack & Rai.

Highlights from previous editions of SGF will make its rounds again, including crowd favourites like Landscape, Fantasy and Balcony Gardens. See how florists and floral designers come up with out-of-the-world installations 

For the first time, the competition was made public – allowing all local professional florists and floral designers to showcase their talents. The seven shortlisted contestants were whittled down to three in the April preliminary rounds. Don’t miss their displays – the three finalists will compete with eleven other renowned international designers at SGF 2016!

Get ideas on how to dress your table for your next dinner party 

The six finalists have been chosen and their displays will be on showcase during SGF 2016. Armed with $5,000 budget, they will re-design and implement a table-top floral display for an esteemed panel of judges. We can’t wait to see what they come up with!
