Situated within the lively compounds of Robertson Quay is The Warehouse Hotel, a revamped boutique hotel that pays tribute to the property’s historical significance as a part of Singapore’s dynamic trading hub during the 19th century.
As a nod to the building’s tremendous history, original details like the warehouse trusses and the Chinese characters on the gable, were left largely untouched and restored. True to its name, The Warehouse Hotel also flaunts a sleek industrial design with an abundance of intricate woodwork details, incorporating a touch of the contemporary into the vintage establishment. Particularly of note is the hotel’s double-high ceilings and jack roofs, which enables the facility to be showered with bright, natural lighting during the day.
Vintage touches continue to the decorate the hotel’s interior, with guest rooms showcasing original industrial beams and peaked ceilings. River View rooms overlook the glittering Singapore River. Noteworthy is the loft-like River View Mezzanine Room, which comes with an elevated reading library.
Drop by the hotel’s flagship restaurant – Po – which serves Singaporean classic fares with a “home-ly” touch. Pendant lamps envelope the space with dim, ambient lighting, providing guests with a warm, cosy atmosphere as they indulge in our local classics. Marble tabletops further adds to the refined image of the restaurant.
