Straight out of Italy, Tonin Casa’s designs are made to be loved forever.
40 years ago, Italian furniture brand Tonin Casa began with a simple vision: to showcase the best of Italian craftsmanship. To this end, they first produced shoe racks, classic pieces which exposed every part to scrutiny. The brand hired the most skilled artisans to create flawless pieces and then, in the ‘90s, worked with top designers, architects and creatives to take the business further and create more high-quality wares for the home that owners will treasure through the years.
Now famed for masterful designs that play on geometry and lines, Tonin Casa still maintains its goals of sharing the best of Italian creativity, quality and craftsmanship. The interior design brand is also completely transparent on what it’s working on, who it’s working with, and everything else you’d want to know to give you confidence in the pieces you are buying. Here are some standouts you may want to take home.
Butterfly by Angelo Tomaiuolo
Dining tables are often stocky and lack imagination. This piece is anything but, with wooden legs beautifully folded into the shape of butterfly wings. Pick from porcelain, wood, tempered glass or marble for the perfect surface to complete the look.
Still by Angelo Tomaiuolo
Soft lines and a slim profile give this table an air of gentleness and grace. Available as a fixed or extendable table with hidden mechanisms, this design comes topped with either glass or porcelain stoneware.
Honey by Nicola Tonin
A perfect accent piece for any room, the Honey sideboard highlights excellent woodworking with walnut or heat-treated dark oak pieces arranged into a honeycomb pattern.
Navilglio by Nicola Tonin
The Navilglio bookcase is sleek yet unique, with straight lines stretching across its metal frame and wood or glass shelves to create an interesting mosaic of shapes.
Amaranto by Studio28
With curved glass draped over a rigid walnut shelf, this stunning coffee table creates a delightful contrast of shapes and classic materials.
Dali by Tosca Design
Reminiscent of the melting shapes in Salvador Dali’s artworks, the lamps feature fused glass dripping over oak stems embedded with LED lights. Suspended from real leather straps, the lamps highlight yet another of Tonin Casa’s strengths: its penchant for using and combining top-notch materials.
