The moment you step into ARTBOX, you know you’re in for an experience. The air hums with energy—neon-lit stalls line the venue, showcasing everything from handcrafted goods to avant-garde streetwear. The scent of sizzling street food wafts through the space, drawing crowds to innovative F&B pop-ups, while live music and interactive installations set the scene for an immersive creative playground.
Each year, ARTBOX reinvents itself, ensuring no two editions feel the same. Whether it’s a bold new theme, unexpected collaborations, or fresh faces in the vendor lineup, the festival always manages to bring in new blood, giving independent creators, startups, and young entrepreneurs a stage to shine.

Kent Teo, Founder & CEO of Invade
Behind this ever-evolving creative movement is Kent Teo, Founder and CEO of INVADE. His vision has transformed ARTBOX into more than just an event—it’s a platform, a launchpad, and a thriving ecosystem where creativity and entrepreneurship flourish.
From pop-up market to powerhouse
For Kent, ARTBOX is deeply personal—a passion project turned entrepreneurial success story.
“During my school years, I loved organising orientation camps and student parties—there was something incredibly fulfilling about bringing people together,” Kent shares. That passion, combined with his wife’s love for art and night markets, sparked the idea for INVADE, a company dedicated to creating spaces of potential.
Since its inception, INVADE has launched multiple lifestyle brands, from Shilin Singapore and Fleawhere to Makers’ Market and MOX, a co-making space designed for creatives. But ARTBOX remains its largest and most ambitious project—a festival where artistry, culture, and business collide.
A fresh take on creativity
ARTBOX has never been just another weekend market—it’s a space for fresh ideas, where emerging entrepreneurs and established brands meet to create something extraordinary.
“Our vision has always been about fostering creativity, celebrating young entrepreneurship, and building a sense of community,” Kent explains.
The 2025 edition, themed ‘ARTBOX EVERYDAY’, reflects this ambition to integrate creativity into daily life. Among its latest innovations:
- Trade Day – A first-of-its-kind networking initiative featuring panel discussions, creative mic forums, and flash mentoring sessions with industry leaders like GRVTY’s Johnathan Chua and SGAG’s Adrian Ang.
- Mini Box – ARTBOX’s inaugural ‘childcare centre,’ making the event more family-friendly and accessible.
- ARTBOX Express – A dedicated *shuttle service from SCAPE, ensuring easy transport for festivalgoers.
Fueling the next generation of entrepreneurs
Beyond being a festival, ARTBOX serves as a launchpad for small businesses and creative startups, providing them with an opportunity to showcase their brand, connect with audiences, and refine their craft.
“In today’s crowded marketplace, standing out is one of the biggest challenges for young brands,” Kent explains. “ARTBOX offers them a stage to gain exposure, build credibility, and form valuable collaborations.”
The introduction of Trade Day further strengthens this commitment, fostering connections between aspiring entrepreneurs and established industry players through insightful talks, mentorship opportunities, and networking sessions.
“Our goal is to create an environment where both business and creative professionals can thrive together,” Kent adds.
What’s next for ARTBOX?
As ARTBOX continues to evolve, Kent hints at exciting new surprises in the pipeline.
“We’re always looking for ways to push creative boundaries—expect more immersive experiences, innovative installations, and bold new formats in the coming year,” he teases.
