As seen in this Athens countryside home, mixing and matching high-end modern furniture with budget buys has never looked this good.
It look an army of six to put together this stunning showflat-like home. Aside from the usual suspects such as the interior designers and the homeowners, decorators F. Siokos and C. Kapsimallis were also roped into this tour de force to turn this whole place around.
The expert team kick-started the transformation of their home once the house had been completed structurally. The interior designers made sure, with perfectly informed opinions to cover everything, from the floors and ceilings up to the colours of the walls, the ergonomic design of the premises as well as the furniture and fixtures.
When it came to the overall style, everything moves in a relaxed mode of neutral hues. Some splashes of colour can be spotted on the cushions and art works, so they brighten up the atmosphere discreetly.
Over at the living area, two plush designer sofas are strategically located opposite the minimalistic fireplace. The well-endowed seats are accompanied by a white coffee table from IKEA. On the other side of the common area and in direct access to the dining room is the wooden kitchen with custom-built touches. The engaging colours and forms of the chairs are accentuated by the wallpaper backdrop of similar aesthetics.
