The annual architecture festival, Archifest, is taking place again this year between 4 and 15 October. Organised around the theme, Building Agency, visitors can expect a line-up of 50 events taking place at island-wide locations over these 2 weeks. Highlights include exhibitions, Architecture & Photography of the Pioneer Generation that showcases images captured by seniors above 55 years old, and Architecture in Print, which presents projects of Singapore architects at the National Library Board.
In addition, festival favourite, Architours, returns for the 11th time. Participants can look forward to exploring the city’s architectural gems that include private residences and public spaces. There will also be a series of workshops for the public, including an introduction to 3D printing and the ArKID BUILD! workshop created specially for the young ones.
