How The LEGO Group and a Local Stylist Are Making Play Part of the Home Again

In a collaboration that brings out the child in all of us, The LEGO Group has partnered with Singapore interior stylist Priscilla Tan of Styledbypt to explore a new kind of home expression—one that celebrates creativity, play, and personality in everyday spaces.

LEGO sets may not be the first thing that comes to mind when styling a home. But this latest project reframes the iconic brick as more than a toy, it’s a design element with endless potential. And for Priscilla, known for her intuitive, mood-driven approach to interiors, it’s the perfect canvas to inspire homeowners to see their spaces differently.

Tip from @styledbypt: Let one material lead the way. In this space, light wood connects the dining set, cabinetry and floor, creating a sense of flow. Once anchored, layer in upholstery, metal and accents around it while keeping the overall look cohesive.

A Playful Approach to Styling

At the heart of the collaboration is a series of styling ideas designed for Singaporean homes, where compact spaces meet a desire for self-expression. Using LEGO bricks in earthy tones and warm neutrals, Priscilla Tan demonstrates how to create thoughtful vignettes that bring a space to life, whether it’s a shelfie moment, a layered console, or a personalised entryway.

Each look is anchored by a dominant material or visual cue, such as light wood or muted palettes, then layered with textures, sculptural pieces and playful LEGO builds. The aim is to add personality without disrupting the visual rhythm of the room.

“At The LEGO Group, we believe that creativity transcends all areas of our lives and is a powerful way to express ourselves,” says Ágnes Molnár, Marketing Director of Singapore, Malaysia and APAC Travel Retail, The LEGO Group.

“We’re excited to showcase how LEGO sets offer limitless possibilities. They are more than just a tool for play, but also design elements that bring beauty, meaning, and personality into our living spaces. No matter your style and personality, there is a LEGO set that can complement the aesthetic of your home.”

Tip from @styledbypt: Layer framed art with sculptural pieces for shelves that feel styled, not staged. Mix line drawings, type, and playful touches like the LEGO 31217 Tiger for personality and charm.

A Natural Fit at IKEA

This spirit of everyday creativity also comes to life at IKEA Alexandra, where LEGO has a dedicated presence within the showroom until 30 June. From curated displays to interactive showcases, the collaboration brings together two Scandinavian icons who share a love for design that’s functional, democratic, and full of personality. It’s a space where inspiration meets accessibility, inviting visitors to imagine how LEGO can work alongside everyday furnishings, not apart from them.
