Wanting to provide his family with a comfortable and luxurious home, the hardworking owner spared no expense during his condo renovation.
Working in the construction industry, the owner of this resale condo already knew he loved marble before he engaged A Blue Cube Design to tackle his home renovation.
It was then up to designer Kristen Teng to execute his vision and transform the unit into the perfect home for his family of five. As the designer shares, the owner only really had one concern: “All members of the family must be in love with the house.”

Living area
Inspired by the homeowner’s love of natural stone and family holidays in luxurious hotels overseas, the living room was given a lush and minimalistic look, fitted out with concealed storage space and custom cowhide seating for the whole family to spend time together.
The colour palette was kept warm and soft to evoke a cosy ambience, underlined by the stunning Italian marble flooring.
Kitchen
A couple of the condo’s walls were hacked to extend the kitchen and make room for the spacious dining table. This rearrangement of the layout took quite some time and gave the designers some problems, with sewage pipes and structural beams needing to be concealed at every turn.
Ultimately, it was all worth the effort, the pared-back kitchen now clad in sintered stone from The Stone Diaries and cabinets from Lamitak, making it a functional and beautiful space that the family gets to enjoy every day.
Bathroom
Truly a hotel-inspired space, the minimalist bathroom comes with low-maintenance fittings and a beautiful Vera faucet.
Bedroom
Fully customised, the bedrooms are equipped with plenty of concealed storage space to keep everything neat and streamlined, including nightstands custom-built by the design team.
The daughters’ new room underwent the greatest transformation, expanded and reshaped to be much more spacious.
