With a 38mm pencil-thin handle and a full machine weight of just 2.2kg (380g in hand), it’s engineered for easy manoeuvrability without sacrificing performance.
More importantly, it’s designed for how we actually live. The machine lies flat to 170° and reaches under furniture as low as 15cm — ideal for low-profile sofas, storage beds and built-ins common in HDB flats and condominiums.
Hygienic Cleaning, Without the Usual Trade-Offs
Unlike conventional wet and dry cleaners that rely on filters — which can trap dirt and emit odours over time — the PencilWash™ features a filter-free system. By eliminating sludge build-up and blockages, Dyson ensures consistent performance and a more hygienic clean from start to finish.
Its high-density microfibre roller (64,000 filaments per cm²) works alongside an 8-point hydration system that continuously supplies fresh water while extracting dirty water in the same rotation. What that means is instead of just pushing water around, the PencilWash™ uses a fast-spinning microfibre roller to scrub the floor while fresh water is released at the same time. As it cleans, dirty water is immediately sucked away, so you’re not mopping with the same murky water over and over again. The result is a cleaner floor that dries quickly, without sticky residue or streaks.
Designed for the Scale of Local Homes
With a 300mL clean water tank, the PencilWash™ can clean up to 100m² — approximately the size of a typical four-room flat — on a single fill. Two hydration modes allow for better control depending on surface type and stain severity, while a 30-minute runtime (with optional swappable battery) supports whole-home cleaning in one session.
