Living and work area

The couple who lives here wanted lots of storage in their home, and the feature wall in this communal zone offers plenty. As the homeowner’s young child likes to swim, blue laminates from TAK were chosen to clad the cabinetry, infusing this area with an aquatic touch. This contrasts nicely against the machine-buffed marble flooring and wood panels to make the space feel more dynamic.

Master bathroom

Large and light-hued marble-look ceramic tiles from Hafary give the master bathroom a classy and elegant aesthetic. It also brightens and visually expands the area to make it seem roomier.

Kitchen

The cooking area feels more spacious and pleasant to work in now that a rear wall between the kitchen and utility section was removed. Here, Jake designed gallery style cabinetry to create more storage and also boost surface space for meal prep. Hardy quartz was used for the worktops while hexagon backsplash tiles from Hafary add personality.

Dining area

As this is part of the commonly used living room, the idea was to have plenty of circulation and clearance for walking. Thus, the furnishings here were kept to a minimum, with a single piece of art and a stylish fan adding flair without hogging floor space.

Common bathroom

The homeowners wanted to create a nautical feel here, so blue-green tiles from Hafary were installed. Grounded with the dark wood tones around the sink area, the common bathroom makes one feel close to nature and evokes a relaxing mood.
