Living room

To cater to their client’s request for an industrial-style home, this HDB apartment features brick-effect wallpaper and track lights, adding character to the space while evoking the chosen theme with style. Behind the living room, newly installed bi-fold black-tinted sliding glass doors separate the gaming room from the outer communal zones.

Gaming room

A space designed for entertainment, the gaming room is outfitted with open shelves and loose furnishings to hold books, personal collectables, and the male owner’s gaming equipment. Along the window, a customised corner daybed in cement-effect laminates provides the occupants with a cosy spot where they can hang out with each other.

Kitchen

Updated appliances, quartz countertops and custom cabinetry constructed using rustic woodgrain laminates transform the kitchen into a fully functional space able to stand up to the stresses of frequent usage. On the backsplash, large-format tiles that look like wire mesh amp up the durability of the utilitarian zone while enhancing the design theme.

Island

Fully maximised for dining and entertaining, the dark quartz-topped island plays host to bar stools on one end, while the other is outfitted with storage units that keep dining utensils and cutlery tucked away. Along the side, built-in wooden shelves keep the owners’ collection of wine and spirits within arm’s reach.

Master bedroom

Courtesy of a newly erected partition wall, the master bedroom is now divided into two sections—the walk-in wardrobe on the left and the sleeping zone on the right. Other additions include a platform bed that provides a firm night’s sleep and a pole system wardrobe for clothing and other garbs.
