Living room

A feature wall that includes display zones allows the homeowners to prominently exhibit their knick-knacks close to the entrance and hides the flat’s DB box. To up the wow factor, the TV wall was covered with Admira laminates in a stone pattern and accented by glamorous gold strips for an extra layer of detail.

Kitchen

An L-shaped kitchen created plenty of wall space to accommodate a sizeable LG fridge that the homeowners loved, as well as generous cabinetry to store kitchen appliances. Swathed in grey to match the modern-contemporary vibe of the home, shaker-style cabinets create a focal wall, complemented with a backsplash constructed out of marble-like subway tiles from Spain sourced from Hafary. A slatted wall of laminates and large black mirror panels add visual interest and expand the surroundings while disguising an adjoining bomb shelter.

Dining area

The walls and doors of one of the bedrooms were replaced with translucent black glass to bring more natural light to the unique dining area. Though pieced together with unusual finds sourced across Asia, the dining set-up comes together nicely with a cohesive colour scheme.

Master bedroom

With a black wall anchoring the space, the bedroom feels snug and serene. A wood panel stretches across the wall to inject liveliness into the room, preventing the bold hue from being overbearing and doubling as a headboard.

Common bathroom

The homeowners wanted to create a nautical feel here, so blue-green tiles from Hafary were installed. Grounded with the dark wood tones around the sink area, the common bathroom makes one feel close to nature and evokes a relaxing mood.
