Living room
Any family with young children can attest that living with kids often means living with mess. Now that the children have grown up, the family wanted a streamlined home with a luxurious and modern appeal. The designer chose a grey wallpaper here which complements the existing marble flooring and also added a sleek media unit to store entertainment essentials. Additionally, the designer helped the family with furniture selections, choosing tones and shapes that would go well with other elements in the space.
Family room
To maximise this room’s potential as a study and recreational zone for the family, a balcony was incorporated into the footprint and the same flooring was used throughout for a unified appearance. The room now hosts exercise and music equipment, a workstation as well as a custom-designed display area.
Bathroom
The bathroom was completely renovated for a hotel-like appearance with plenty of storage added on to keep cleaning and bath supplies neatly hidden away.
Kitchen
A handy power strip for all the appliances allows them to be positioned freely and eliminates messy wires. Meanwhile, sleek cabinet fronts and large format tiles on the floor and backsplash make cleaning the surfaces a breeze
Walk-in closet
Incorporated in the main bedroom, the galley-style layout doesn’t take up a lot of space yet provides plenty of storage and allows both homeowners to get dressed simultaneously. A large mirror at the end helps the couple check their appearance and visually brightens and expands the area as well.
