Living room

Along the main living room wall sits a series of built-up cabinets that serve both decorative and storage functions, while the double-layered television console helps visually elongate the living space. Concurrently, interior designer Dillon Ma from Sense and Semblance fitted a partition panel behind the television to keep unsightly wires hidden from sight, and utilised a combination of light and dark grey laminates for the design to make the accent wall stand out.

Dining

Retaining the pre-existing open concept floor plan, a series of built-in fixtures and kitchen appliances were moved out into the dining zone to create a more free-flowing and casual ambience within the communal spaces. Meanwhile, a trio of geometric pendant lights add some sparkle to the space with its shiny exterior.

Kitchen

To cater to the lady homeowner’s request for including pink tones in the home, the upper kitchen cabinets were clad in light pink laminates, and was then paired with light wood laminates on the base cabinets for a contemporary look. This subtle backdrop also allows users to focus their attention to the stunning central LED light feature that illuminates the backsplash.

Master bedroom

Featuring a muted colour scheme of neutrals and dark grey, the master bedroom is a sea of calm perfect for the homeowners to unwind after a long day. A unique feature here is the woodgrained platform bed, which comes incorporated with pull-out drawers along the steps to increase the number of storage solutions in the room.

Walk-in wardrobe

Although sharing the same floor area, the walk-in wardrobe is sectioned out from the sleeping zone by a glass sliding door and divider panels that still allow natural light to filter into both spaces. As the owners didn’t want closed door storage units which may make the space feel smaller, a modular wardrobe system was then installed to keep their clothes and accessories tidy.
